In 2018, the UC Berkeley College of Environmental Design decoupled its annual fundraising gala from its annual student showcase. The Soirée highlighted exceptional alumni achievements in the Liebeskind-designed Contemporary Jewish Museum. The print and digital materials complement the angularity of the exterior and spareness of the interior. View the complete CED Soiree brochure.
Each year, the College of Environmental Design at UC Berkeley hosts an annual student showcase celebrating the work of students in architecture, landscape architecture, and city and regional planning.
The hand-designed, reductionist mark reflects the spirit of the exhibition through a subtle visual metaphor. Its balanced, jester-inspired symmetry evokes the poise and coordination of circus performers, while the clean geometry and structured composition nod to the precision and discipline of architectural design.

I wrote and designed a print and interactive digital viewbook for Escuela Bilingüe Internacional, a PreK–Grade 8 independent school in Oakland and Emeryville. Working closely with school leadership, I developed an aspirational narrative and visual system to market its bilingual IB program to prospective families, along with a companion interactive edition for digital marketing. Browse the 2026 viewbook spreads.
Interactive Digital Edition
Alongside the print viewbook, I created a companion long-scroll digital edition designed for use in email campaigns, social media, and EBI's admissions pages. The format adapts the viewbook's narrative and visual system for screen reading, with linked sections, embedded calls to action, and a mobile-friendly layout that gives prospective families an immersive introduction to EBI before they visit campus.
Cover Design and Visual System
EBI had an established logo and color styleguide but no design system built for a publication of this scale. I expanded their brand palette into a full visual language of organic circular shapes, layered color fields, and a typographic hierarchy that keeps the tone warm and energetic across 36 pages. The cover photograph of students collaborating with color works as a visual metaphor for the school's core promise, paired with the bilingual tagline "Many Cultures. Una Comunidad." and a 20th anniversary mark that signals institutional credibility.
Key Messages
The viewbook is organized around three core ideas that run through every spread. The first is warmth and community rooted in Latin American and global cultures, positioning EBI as a place where relationships, cultural celebration, and belonging are central to the experience for both students and families. The second is multilingual development in a Spanish immersion environment, emphasizing that students learn in the language rather than simply learning the language, building real fluency and cultural agility across their academic and social lives. The third is academic rigor through the IB framework, showing how EBI's Primary Years and Middle Years Programmes challenge students to think critically, make connections across disciplines, and apply their learning in both Spanish and English.
These remittance envelopes were designed to complement the UC Berkeley College of Environmental Design’s annual report mailing. The easy-to-navigate layout fits all the necessary components of larger form in a self-sealing format.
I created an embroidered version of the Goodman Community Center's Lussier LOFT (teen program) logo for hats and t-shirts. The vibe is fun, funky, and colorful.
I created invitations (print and digital), an online ticketing page, a website and designed all event materials for an International Women's Day celebration of Girls Inc. of Greater Madison.
The materials featured photography by Eunique Jones Gibson, the event's keynote speaker.
Print materials and Web design for the Goodman Community Center's seasonal teen employment cafe.
The Goodman Community Center kicked off its first Beer & Chocolate Tasting fundraiser in 2014 to great success. GCC rebranded this event as A Night Out For Goodman in 2016. I designed a new logo, print and digital marketing materials, and promoted the event through a variety of channels.
